          What the sabre-toothed tiger eats and how it gets its food.

The sabre-toothed tiger's main food source is big herbivores like the elephant, rhino and the ground sloth. The sabre-toothed tigers used to get their food by running fast and quietly so the animal does not hear it and can't run away. It ate the meat once it caught it.
